Out with the old...

Wow...it's been a long time since I've blogged! And I'm only really blogging now under duress because Clara wants me to. :p

I've been planning a kitchen (and laundry, but that's not as exciting) renovation for quite a while now and it's finally all happening!

I took some photos last night of the old kitchen which I am not going to miss in the slightest!

Here it is!

Note the complete lack of drawers (yes that's right that is a tallboy in the corner because we really needed some drawers in there!) Not to mention the insanely high cupboards (so useful!) and that lovely orange laminate benchtop over a corner cupboard that you practically had to crawl inside to get anything out of it! Needless to say I was rapt to see it being taken apart this morning...

I'm really not going to miss those awesome floral shelves and that fan in a cupboard that was what passed for a rangehood!

I'll take some more photos once the whole kitchen is gone which should be done by this afternoon. Then we have someone coming to put in a false ceiling because we have these really hideous polystyrene ceiling tiles in the kitchen, to match the super hideous everything else in there!
