The kitchen is done! (well mostly :p)

The kitchen cabinets are all done, the appliances (apart from cooktop and motor for the rangehood) have been installed and it really looks like a kitchen now!

We're still waiting for the ceiling to be re-plastered and the new cornices to be put up and the wall tiles in the laundry which should all happen tomorrow.

Then we have the granite benchtop which will be installed in a week and a bit and once the benchtop's installed the glass splashback will be measured up and made which will take another week or so...so it'll be a little while until the kitchen is really finished. But for now I'm pretty happy with the cupboards, the dishwasher in the kitchen (woot!) and my shiny new oven which I used for the first time today! I don't think it really counts as 'cooking' but these ham and cheese toasted turkish bread sandwiches were yum!

I love that I have a light in the oven and an oven door I can see through! That's a first! :D
